Voicemail

  • Setting up your voicemail via the Web client

    • Go to “Avatar > Settings > Greetings”.
    • Record a new greeting or download a pre-recorded message.
    • You can have different greetings by status.

  • Set your voicemail greeting via your office phone or an application

    • Dial the voicemail number indicated in your user account e-mail.
    • If requested, enter your PIN code and press “#”.
    • From the administration options, select “8”, then “0” to record.
    • Press “#” to end recording and “0” to save.

  • Listen to your voice messages

    • From the mobile application: Tap on “Voicemail”.
    • From the web/PWA client: Click on “...” > “Voicemail”. > “Voicemail”.
    • From a desktop phone: Dial your voicemail number or press the “Envelope” button, enter your PIN + # if requested, then press “*” to listen to messages.

  • Making a call

    • From the phone: Dial the number > press the “Call”, “Ok” or “#” button.
    • From the Web client: Select the desk phone via the dialer.

  • Transfer a call: Blind transfer

    • “Transfer” > Dial the number > “TransfB”.

  • Transfer a call: Assisted transfer

    • “Transfer > dial number > “Call” > announce caller > “Transfer”.

  • Download the application from Google Play or Apple App Store.

    • pen the 3CX Welcome email. (Ask your administrator or TIC Telecom support).
    • Connect to your web interface, and show your QR code.
    • Scan your code, and your extension will be configured automatically in seconds.


Softphone 3CX Windows

  • Download the application from Microsoft Store.

    • Open the 3CX Welcome email. (Ask your administrator or TIC Telecom support).
    • Log in to your web interface, and access “Apps”.
    • Select “Windows Application”, then “Provision”.
    • Allow your browser to open the 3CX application to complete the configuration.


3CX Web Client

The easy-to-use 3CX Web Client combines all the features you need to communicate, collaborate and connect effectively with colleagues, partners and customers, directly from your browser or from the native Windows desktop application. From this single interface, you can easily make calls, check the status of your colleagues, organize a video conference and communicate with your customers by voice, live chat, and even Facebook messaging. 

  • Connect to the web client

    • Open the email “Your user account on your new 3CX system”.
    • Click on the web client URL.
    • Log in with Google, MS 365, or use the credentials in the email.

  • Manage your status and queues

    • Define your status by clicking on your avatar: 5 statuses available.
    • Your status turns yellow when your line is busy.
    • Customize status and transfer rules: “Avatar > Your name > Status > ‘Pencil’”.


Audio/Video Conferences

  • Create a video or audio conference on the fly

    • Open the web client or desktop application and click on “Meeting”.
    • Authorize 3CX to use your camera and microphone, then click on “Join now”.
    • To invite other participants, copy the link and share it by WhatsApp or email.

  • Schedule a conference

    • Click on “+” at the top of the screen to create a video or audio meeting.
    • Fill in the necessary information, choose the calendar, then click on “Create a meeting”.
    • Click on “Scheduled conferences” to view your upcoming meetings.

      Turn a call into a conference

  • Turn a call into a conference

    • During a call, click on “Conference” in the call screen.
    • Search for a contact by name, position or enter a phone number.
    • Select participants and they will automatically be called to join the conference.


Microsoft 365 integration

  • SSO login

    • Enable SSO to allow your users to log in to 3CX with their Microsoft credentials.

  • Calendar synchronization

    • Microsoft 365 calendar entries automatically update your 3CX status. If you're away or in a meeting, your 3CX status will reflect it.

  • Synchronize all your contacts

    • Synchronize all your 365 contacts with your 3CX directory so they're all easily accessible in one place.
    • Start a call by typing the name of any 365 contact in your 3CX interface.

SMS and Live Chat

  • Start a chat

    • Click on “Chat” > “+” and select “Start chat” or “Create group chat” or “Send SMS”.
    • Select the extension(s) or number(s) to start chatting.

  • Receiving a chat

    • You can view chat conversations routed to your extension, groups or queues of which you are a member.
    • You can distinguish between Live Chat and SMS by their respective icons.

  • Processing a chat

    • Select the chat, click on the menu and select “Transfer”, “Take” or other options enabled by the administrator.
    • To transfer the chat, search for an agent by name or extension number.
